PRODUCTS

Just for Kids and Omnigel

This is a prescription product and must be used with parent supervision. In addition, a parent should always dispense this product for the child. The teeth should be brushed prior to using the Just for Kids with either water or toothpaste to remove all visible plaque. The child can rinse & spit and/or have teeth wiped off before Just for Kids is applied. AFTER Just for Kids is applied, the child should spit any excess gel and then go to bed. If it is absolutely necessary, water can be given 30 minutes after use. (Because Just for Kids is made with stannous fluoride a slight stain may appear but can be easily removed with dental polishing.)
*as with any medications, Just for Kids should be stored out of children's reach.

Phos Flur Rinse

This is a fluoride rinse that can be purchased from your dentist or in stores. It is recommended mainly for patients with braces or orthodontic appliances. Brush and floss teeth to remove all visible plaque and debris. Next, rinse mouth for one minute, then spit, and avoid eating/drinking for at least 30 minutes. The best way to use phos-flur is: "swish, spit, sleep" - in that order!

Enamelon Gel

This gel is dispensed by dental offices to fight cavities and gingivitis. It also helps prevent tooth sensitivity. The gel should be used in place of over the counter toothpaste for one minute. DO NOT RINSE, eat or drink for 30 minutes after using. Enamelon is best used before bed, but can be used morning and night.

Xylitol Products

Xylitol products - spiffies wipes, gum, spray. Xylitol is a natural sweetener derrived from non-GMO corn husks (and in some places from the birch tree). Xylitol makes plaque "less sticky" and the germs that cause cavities can not utilize xylitol, therefore decreasing the incidence of decay. Xylitol products can be used for children of all ages.

Xylitol Spray (called- “Rain”) is also indicated for use in patients that struggle with dry mouth.
